Saint Patrick’s Day is on March 17th and has become the day when people around the world celebrate Irish culture. He is the Catholic patron saint of Ireland and often associated with symbols of Ireland such as the shamrock and the colour green. According to the legend, Saint Patrick drove all the snakes from Ireland.

3. WHAT IS A LEPRECHAUN?

A leprechaun  is a type of fairy that stands about as tall as a three-year-old child. A leprechaun is usually described as a bearded man who wears a green suit and a hat. According to stories, the leprechaun is a shoemaker who spends most of his time making and fixing shoes. 
Leprechauns are rich, they've got pot of golds at the end of the rainbow!
So, pay attention! Maybe you can catch one of them and get the gold for you!!!!!

People celebrate this day all over the world with parades during the day and special dinner at night of corned beef and cabbage.
People wear green clothing, badges, buttons or ribbons as the colour of shamrocks.
